About Us
Gabe and Rita Taylor have been married for 21 years and have three boys. They are involved at their church and love watching their kids play sports! Gabe is a Project manager and Rita is a nurse by trade. It has been Gabe’s dream to open an ice cream shop for several years.
About Our Ice Cream
We sourced our favorite ice cream to bring to you locally at the Parlor. Ashby’s Sterling has been proudly making delicious ice cream in Michigan since 1984.
Ashby’s ice cream is famous for their unique, ultra-creamy and award-winning ice cream. They start each batch with our original 14% butterfat recipe and perfect it by mixing in the finest, freshest and most delicious ingredients.

About Our Coffee
Our specialty coffee beans meet our strict quality guidelines. The beans we have chosen have unique roasting profiles so we can provide maximum flavor and incredible smoothness.

Creating The Parlor
The idea of The Parlor began in 2019 when Gabe and Rita had their first conversation about this big dream.
In the spring of 2021 we worked with Marissa Christine to start working on our logo & brand vision board.
We broke ground and started moving dirt for the first time in July of 2021.
We were told our logo should have something specific that was unique to us… so in January 2022, Pearl was created. We gave Marissa Christine a lot of idea photos of the kind of cow we were looking for and she nailed it!
In March of 2022 lumber was delivered and work started on the building.
Work continues, blue prints.
Scripture verses are written on the frame of the building. It was important to us to have a firm Foundation for our business literally and figuratively.
Concrete, Shingles and Walls April of 2022!
May of 2022 siding started going up and a drive-thru!!
June of 2022, we announced Coming Soon!
